Our mission goes beyond providing transitional housing; we’re crafting a family unit that cares about the little moments often missed in childhood.
We get the opportunity to redefine what it means to be a family for young women who either don't have a family or come from very broken families. One way we build this culture within the GFL household is to go on trips together! Offering them once-in-a-lifetime adventures isn’t just about creating memories but engraving in their hearts the powerful truth that is the active love of Jesus. Whether it's going camping, to the beach, or even just to the movies, we take about eight intentional trips each year. We believe that true family is built on shared experiences, care for one another, and the understanding that every individual deserves to have their heart imprinted with the warmth of genuine love. It is a great chance for us to go deeper in our relationships and bless our young women with a fun trip away from their everyday lives!
Our goal is to purchase a 12-passenger van to accommodate our 7 GFL girls, the Castaneda family, and any volunteers who come along! God has provided for us in the area of vehicles before and we believe He will do it again! Join us on this journey of creating a home where the essence of family transcends traditional boundaries, and God's love manifests as a powerful force for transformation.
