The Mission Inc. started in 1987 as a simple orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico, and has blossomed into a dynamic, multi-country ministry with a bold vision of “Rescue, Love, Restore.”
With a presence in Mexico, Romania, and Nicaragua, those involved have answered “yes!” to become the hands and feet of Jesus, ushering the lost into redemption. Through a range of transformative programs, we provide not just care, but the opportunity for a new life: the freedom to dream for those who were never given the option.
Today, after almost 40 years of service, The Mission runs a local church, a daycare, and both junior high & high schools that serve over 500 children, offering meals, education, and spiritual nourishment. Our year-round School of Missions equips and sends out passionate individuals to expand the Kingdom, while our international mission trips invite people from all walks of life to step into bringing Heaven to earth. Together, we are not just meeting needs; we are transforming lives with the love of Christ!
Sydney and Juan have worked and served in The Mission for over a decade, and their commitment to its heart and vision continues to stand strong. Juan plays a vital role in construction projects and campus maintenance, ensuring that the foundation of this ministry remains strong and vibrant. Sydney is devoted to nurturing and equipping future leaders through work with the School of Missions. Together, they serve in church services, hosting short-term teams, connection groups, and orphan care – and remain willing to step in wherever there is a need!
"We believe this is our home, and we are committed to building our lives here. Our vision for our marriage and our future family is to keep saying "yes," as those before us have done, with unwavering dedication and fierce faith. We aim to break through new barriers, creating foundations that future generations will build upon. Our passion for sowing seeds and witnessing the fruit of this ministry has only grown, and we are determined to continue in that mission.
We are fully invested in continuing to love as Jesus loved, to serve and give as He did, and to dream with God as we work to see His Kingdom come on earth."
